not user friendly

it takes some time to install and remove the lens. specially the removal of lens is difficult as the lever does not activate the release. i had to use a fine screwdriver to push the pin to release the lens. could have bben a better design.

I was hesitant to order this item after reading a review that stated the lens adapter will not securely lock into the Spiffy Gear Light Blaster, so as a precaution I also ordered a Vello LA-CEF-NAF adapter to see which one worked best. After testing both, I assure you that if you attach the adapter to the lens correctly and then mount it properly to the Blaster, (aligning the white dot on the adapter to the red dot on the Blaster) The Spiffy Gear adapter absolutely WILL lock securely into the Blaster. In addition, it allows full manual control of the aperture, which the Vello does not. This is why it always pays to test things for yourself.

doesn't lock lens in

the adapter won't lock my lenses in. it seems poorly made and came with one instruction card showing how to take a lens off. the design is seriously lacking. You have to press a little metal that without said card, you'd have never of guessed. I am able to twist a lens into the mount however the blaster but it's there just by gravity. anything bumps the lightstand and it will fall.
