The single Scrambler SC-1000 Simplex Wireless PLUS 2-Way Radio from Eartec is capable of a range of up to 1 mile, and can work with an unlimited number of other SC-1000 PLUS radios. It operates in simplex mode, which means one radio can transmit at a time, while the message is received by all other radios.
The radio has 16 channel combinations and 38 privacy codes for blocking interference. Its built-in rechargeable battery can be recharged with the included standup charger.

Nice Radio ....
We use the radios in video production work. They are very clear and very depedable. I wish the battery would last a little longer. I also wish they could be set to continues talk.

Adding onto an existing system
The Scrambler does the job. We use these on video shoots with up to 5 units, and we've never had a problem with the system. My only complaint is that they aren't full duplex, so only one user can talk at a time.
