Olivia on the Farm with the Litepanels Hilio- short
The Hilio D12 Daylight Balanced LED Light from Litepanels builds on the foundation of the original Hilio, offering a substantial boost in size, power and flexibility. The 20.5 x 14 x 8.75" daylight-balanced panel employs 12 LEDs to output the approximate equivalent of a 575W PAR HMI or 2,000W incandescent fixture while consuming only 350W. That kind of energy efficiency means reduced running and air-conditioning costs in the studio and a quick return on investment - typically 3 years or less.
The Hilio D12 not only dims from 0 - 100% but is fully controllable both locally and remotely through its DMX interface. Settings can be monitored on the bright, rear-panel LCD screen. The D12 offers convenience features we've come to expect from Litepanels products, such as the 2-slot filter slot on the front panel, rugged aluminum housing, ergonomic handles, strong yoke with 1 1/8 Junior pin receiver and multi-voltage power supply. Optional accessories include Nanoptic lenses that can convert the D12's native, punchy beam angle of 15 degrees to 10, 30 or 60 degrees to offer spot, soft or broad directional fill light possibilities.
Long Throw Capable
High intensity, a narrow beam, and a wide range of accessories make these versatile fixtures essential in Broadcast Studios or on feature/episodic/commercial location shoots
Low Power Consumption, Quick ROI
Low power consumption, reduced HVAC requirements, and no associated bulb replacement costs contribute to a return on your investment (ROI) in less than three years for typical studio applications
Energy efficient panel draws only 350W but is comparable to the output of a 575W HMI PAR or 2K incandescent fixture
Optional Nanoptic Lenses
Nanoptic lenses convert the powerful open source into a soft light or broad directional fill for almost any application
No UV or infrared wavelengths are emitted
Panels have a microprocessor operated, active cooling system that automatically adjusts to the ambient temperature
Flicker-free at any frame rate or shutter angle.
Ultra-smooth dimming from 100% to 0, with no noticeable color shift throughout the entire range
Integrated DMX module, with RJ45 Ethernet connections for remote dimming control with any standard DMX512 protocol device
Integrated slots hold color and diffusion gel filters and optional Nanoptic lenses
Standard yoke with Junior pin to enable easy mounting and positioning
User-friendly LCD display and a multi-functional control with menu-based button interface
Removable, external power supply with convenient mounting bracket and other options
Built-in SD card slot to easily facilitate future software upgrades
