question

is the extender IP based? is it able to be fed through a switch in its own VLAN? or does it have to be a direct connection on both ends?
Asked by: Shahed E.
This Product is based on HDBaseT technology which is point to point connection, cannot be installed on a POE switch and does not use IP technology. The LAN port on the device is to transport Internet from the transmitter to the Receiver device to extend to a hub or smart TV.The product that supports VLAN and is IP based is the HDM-C6IPX-SET or the HDM-C6MXIP-SET
