The HDM-C6VWIP-SET HDMI IP/LAN Videowall Matrix Extender with IR RS232 Audio and KVM Function from Avenview comprises of a transmitter and a extender and provides extension of high definition video and high quality audio. The IR function on the extender can be used to send remote IR commands to control the HDMI source device from any extender location. The RS-232 on this device is designed to pass RS-232 signal to any compatible DB9 port to receive commands from the third party control system.

The unit can be used into any solution with its unique design allowing connection by the following: Point to Point (Direct Connection with CAT5/6) up to 330'. Point to Multi-Point with CAT5/6 requires a Managed Network Switch which supports port based IEEE 802.1Q VLAN, IGMP v2.0 or above protocol. For large application, Dell Networking 5500 series, which uses 2 HDMI port or 2 SFP port to cascade.

Matrix Function with CAT 5/6 cable without any signal loss add multiple Sources to multiple extenders which links via LAN by cascading Managed Ethernet switches up to 3 levels, to the extender connected to the HD Monitors at different locations on the Network. Transporting Full HD 1080p video and internally JPEG video compression adapts to available network bandwidth if needed while retaining vivid picture with 5.1 PCM audio.

Videowall function with CAT 5/6 cable without any signal loss adds multiple sources to multiple transmitters and extenders to the HD displays to achieve a multi-input videowall configuration. The device ensures flexibility within any videowall design, layout, and configuration. Its modular design allows example 1x2, 2x2, 3x3 up to 16x16. The extender can be easily controlled via the Control Software to manage and setup the bezel, input and configuration of the Videowall. Optional IP control box sends commands via a third party automation system through Telnet commands for simple presentation on the HD displays.

USB signal will be passed through with the CATx signal to control any peripheral device connected at the TX example a PC 328' away from the display can be controlled with a keyboard and mouse at the display side. The user can also connect a USB printer to the RX to print at the location.

IP ControlPro Software is compatible with any Windows PC the user can set DHCP/STATIC IP addresses, change the names of the transmitter and extender for easy ID and also the user can save the desired layout for future use.
