The SW-HBT4K-C6-16X16E HDMI HDBaseT 4K Matrix Switcher from Avenview supports the transmission of video and multi-channel digital audio along with IR, RS-232, and LAN (Internet) over Cat5e/6/7 cables. It is able to route any of its 16 HDMI inputs to any of its 16 HDBaseT outputs.
This switcher features 16 UTP output ports which allow you to extend all signals up to 330' away. This switcher is compatible with the HBT-C6POE-R and HBT-C6PLT-R receivers (sold separately). These receiver units can be powered by the 24V from the transmitter PoE (Power over Catx cable) to the receiver, and extends internet (100 Mbps Ethernet service when connected to a router at the transmitter). This matrix can be controlled via front-panel buttons, IR remote control, RS-232, Telnet, and IP control with all information, including system status, presented on its LCM display.
Note: The PoE function is designed for powering compatible HDBaseT receiver units only.
Non-PoE receivers have to be powered with a power supply. Receivers from different manufactures are not compatible. Displaying HDMI 4K x 2K resolution requires a 4K capable HDMI cable and 4K display for accurate results.
