Sachtler S2044-0001 Overview

The Sachtler SpeedLevel Clamp for 100mm Fluid Heads is innovatively designed with squeeze handles that let you more accurately and easily level your fluid head. Instead of the traditional twisting and untwisting, the SpeedLevel Clamp loosens the head position when you squeeze the handles and sets the head in place the moment you release the squeeze. The SpeedLevel Clamp is compatible with all Sachtler 100mm heads and supports a maximum weight of 55 lb.

Third-party heads may not be compatible because a Sachtler 10mm thread is required.

It doesn't fit  Sachtler Cine 7+7 HD Fluid Head

Although they said this speed level clamp fit all the 100 mm fluid head. But it doesn't fit my Sachtler 1910 Cine 7+7 HD Fluid Head. When I rotate the speed level clamp all the way into the bottom nail of the fluid head, It still have a big gap between the clamp and the bowl. So it can't lock. I don't know whether other fluid heads have the same problem.

I bought this product as a retrofit for my Sachtler Video 18 head. I am documentary filmmaker and was hoping that it would be a big time saver for me. It is and it isn't. The squeeze release is certainly faster than loosening and tightening the locking nut, but that's usually just a half turn either way, so the fact is that it's not a lot faster. The thing that really takes time is leveling the head and you still have to do that. With a heavier, fully loaded camera like I use, you still need to use both hands. I am happy with my purchase, but if it broke tomorrow, I wouldn't be rushing out to replace it and would probably just go back to the old locking nut.

Yes, the Sachtler FSB10 fluid head is 100mm and could support and work with the Sachtler SpeedLevel Clamp for 100mm Fluid Heads.

Would this work with the cartoni focus line, they are 100mm ball heads. Like the focus 12-18-22?

We're afraid not. This is compatible with all Sachtler 100mm heads. Third-party heads may not be compatible because a Sachtler 10mm thread is required.

Yes, the speed level offers a 100mm bowl that will adapt with no problem to your O'Connor 1040 Fluid Head as well give you a payload support of 55lbs.

Hi, this works only with Sachtler heads. The Sachtler 75 mm tripods are very compact and the Speedlevel Clamp does not fit when you close it for transport. Only exception are the Sachtler systems with the TT telescopic tripod
