The 3-12x44 Elite LRHS Riflescope from Bushnell is a purpose-built long range hunting scope (LRHS) with a low-profile, and tactical turrets for ease-of-use. All of the optical surfaces are fully multicoated with Ultra Wide Band anti-reflective coatings to minimize light-loss and increase image brightness and contrast. The Elite LRHS employs Bushnell's G2H reticle, placed on the First Focal Plane (FFP). The G2H is a modified duplex crosshair with large posts that are easy to see in low light, and thin center hairs that won't obstruct smaller targets. On the two axes are mil hash marks and dashes to assist in long distance ranging, holdover calculation, windage/elevation compensation, and shot correction. A 2 mil circle clearly defines the center point of the reticle.

Built for durability, the housing is argon-filled and o-ring sealed for water and fogproof performance. Its turrets, focus dial, and zoom collar are knurled or textured to provide a sure grip in extreme weather conditions or while wearing gloves. The optical surfaces are also coated with Bushnell's proprietary RainGuard HD coatings that bead water and oil away.
