The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5: Producing Great Output DVD instructed and created by Laura Shoe features over 12 hours of training spread across 57 different videos. These MP4 format videos are high resolution at 1024 x 768 and are compatible with iPads for convenient viewing anywhere. The videos teach how to properly output your photographs in order to have the best looking images in print or on the web.
This video series will teach you not only the how-to of using Lightroom's Book, Slideshow, Print, and Web modules to design, save and print, or export your output, but also will give you a very solid foundation in output concepts that are critical to getting high-quality consistent output.
Major topics covered include color management, color spaces, monitor calibration, and printing profiles, among others. The DVD helps you to understand what different settings mean and how to make the best decisions on quality and output sharpening. Also, it goes over cropping as well as size and resolution in relation to both screen and print outputs.
The series then delves into each of Lightroom's output modules. In the Print module portion you learn to create single and multi-photo layouts, how to print professionally to your own printer, and how to save layouts to share online or to send out to have printed. You'll also learn how to make slideshows with text and music for display in Lightroom or to share online, to design photo books and e-books, and to create web galleries that showcase your work online.
