The Califone PA310 Portable Sound System is designed for portable and installed sound applications such as for vocal reinforcement in school classrooms and corporate boardrooms. The speaker utilizes a 30-watt integrated amplifier and the largest magnet in its speaker class to deliver sound to upwards of 350 people.
For I/O the unit's back panel features a combination XLR and 1/4" microphone input, an AUX RCA input pair, an 1/8" stereo AUX input, a 1/4" line input, and a 1/4" line output for connecting to additional speakers. The I/O allows you to connect devices such as projectors, computers, and interactive whiteboards. The back panel also features separate control knobs for bass and treble as well as volume up, volume down, and mute buttons. The included infrared remote control has a line of sight operating range of approximately 20 feet and can be magnetically connected to the top of the speaker to help prevent it from being misplaced.
A rugged steel-reinforced top handle allows you to carry the speaker and use it in portable applications. The speaker also includes a recessed underside pole mount for mounting on a speaker stand or the optional Califone TP-30 tripod (sold separately). Alternatively, the speaker can be wall-mounted with the optional MB-PA3W two-piece speaker bracket that provides 180° of horizontal pivot and 90° of vertical adjustments (sold separately).
