    Ruggard MCH-S6F3B reviews

Memory Card Case for 3 CF/CFast, 6 SD, and 6 microSD Cards is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 38.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safely Holds and Protects I just love these card cases from Ruggard. They have seals to keep out the weather and dust, and the hard case shell can take a beating. Because it is a hard case, it's a little bulky when carried in your pocket compared to a soft case, but you will not mind the bulkiness the first time it falls out of your pocket. With the hard case, in most instances, you will hear it hit the ground, whereas a soft case you can easily lose and not know it until you need to change cards. You could lose hundreds in cards, as well as the possibility of losing irreplaceable and unrepeatable photos because you dropped a soft case and did not know it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best I've Found. Highly Recommended If you are looking for this style of hard shell, waterproof/shockproof memory card holder, this is IMO the best one available, and that applies to this multiformat card case as well as the CF only and SD only cases. I've used the clear/transparent hard shell Gepe brand card wallets and like the see through feature but they are a bit harder to open and the trays hold the cards in too firmly, making it really difficult to remove your memory cards quickly. The Pelican branded cases are veft similar to the Ruggard cases, but the cards are too loose in the trays and quite frequently fall out onto the floor/snow/water or whatever surface is below you when opening the case! Even if they don't fall completely out, the cards come free of their holding trays and float loosely in the case which renders any exposed/empty organization useless (I place fresh, unused cards in the tray face or branding label up, while exposed cards are placed in the trays face down). These Ruggard card cases are just right. They hold the cards securely, but the cards are also easy to remove quickly without any fuss. They also have a lanyard attachment loop at one corner if you want to keep them tethered to your pants belt loop or camera bag/case. They are a very good all-around design and should last a lifetime.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rugged Rugged case design. The cut-outs that hold the media cards in place,(especially the micro SD cards) needs to have a better fitted design to keep media in place. The Micro SD cards dont fit firmly in place and upon placing a full size SD card over top of the micro for storage, you would have to be extremely careful opening up the case, so that the full size SD cards dont fall out and onto the floor or into a puddle while out in the field.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great protection. I can't really think of any reasons for anything less than 5 stars for this product. Granted I haven't tried driving over it with my car or throwing it out of an airplane, but it would definitely survive a drop from normal human height. It's got a good amount of storage for the number of cards I have. It has a good closing latch. It's a case. Not very technological. Simple. Rugged.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent closing card case I like the case and fixed it so that I can put another six SD cards in the side that is supposed to hold CF cards. I did this by cutting some plastic from the container to fit against the sides of the case to sort of jam in the smaller cards into the larger slots. The case closes well and is very useful in keeping cards in one place and not scattered, esp. while on vacation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive build for the money This little case is a gem. I was impressed by the build quality and ruggedness of it. It feels firm, well made and shuts firmly with a rubber seal all the way round. It has hard shaped foam on the inside which allows a snug fit of all three memory cards I will be using. I believe it's just the right spread for cards that support my dual card DSLR and Go Pro.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great storage case The reason I rated this 4 stars is because all the memory cards didn't fit as perfect. One of my SD cards keeps popping out. I've tried to make it fit better, but it seems as though the foam is too tight for it to fit perfectly. Only one memory card slot has the issue. All-in-all, I still recommend it as they feel very protected inside.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Interior Spaces Too Tight The case is rugged and will certainly protect your cards. However, the slots for the CF cards are much too tight...require a lot of force just to get them in there. I feel like this might eventually damage the card. I previously owned the Pelican cases and liked those. Just thought I'd try this one out. Heading back to the Pelican.
