The Singh-Ray 100 x 100mm Mor-Slo ND 15-Stop Filter is a solid neutral density filter providing an exposure reduction of about 15 stops. This 4.5 optical density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Mor-Slo filters are especially adept at maintaining neutral color fidelity and minimizing color casts that are inherent to such strong densities; however, a slight warming of the image can be expected due to the exaggerated exposure length needed to compensate for the 4.5 density.

Excellent optical quality like no other. Glass. 15 stops is perfect for day time long exposures. Like all their square Mor-Slo NDs, one side is rubber(ish) lined but leaves a small margin on opposite edges. This makes a snug light leak proof seal on a Lee filter holder, yet allows sliding into the holder’s slots as any ND would. It’s perfect.
