The AutoHybrid IP2 Two-Line VoIP Hybrid Interface from JK Audio functions as a two-line VoIP hybrid and is a desktop/half-rack design. It provides one-button access to the common features of a phone line hybrid, and can be used for call control, auto-answer, and conference applications. In addition, advanced call control features and VoIP line setup are provided through the internal web server.

In VoIP mode, two line-level XLR jacks provide mono send and receive audio for line 1 and line 2. This unit also functions as an Audio over IP (AoIP) codec, streaming wide-band stereo audio. In AoIP mode, the XLR jacks provide stereo send and receive audio. The IP2 remote jack allows for easy connection to the JK Audio Interchange Intercom Phone Bridge, offering an auto-answer VoIP connection into your party-line intercom.

The AutoHybrid IP2 features low-power consumption for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, and an external power supply is included for LAN connections without PoE capability. This small desktop unit converts to a rackmount unit using the optional RA2 Rack Panel (sold separately). The RA2 rackmount kit holds two IP2 units in a 1 RU rack space.

AutoHybrid IP2 Two-Line VoIP Hybrid Interface is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very handy tool We just added this to our Avaya phone system. The setup was straightforward once I got the documentation from tech support. It's a versatile device and performed admirably for a high-profile event in its first use. I haven't had time to really toy with all the settings in detail, so I'll describe the setup. The tricky part of the initial setup is if you do not know the device's IP. I want this device to be able to roam within our statewide phone system, so a static IP address was out of the question. Retrieving the IP address via a USB connection is straightforward, but I had to request the instructions from JK Audio's tech support. I got them quickly and was able to access the device using a free telnet client. That gave me the IP address to get into the web interface and configure the SIP accounts and other settings. This was relatively intuitive and straightforward, and took little time at all. Once I had entered that information, the device authenticated and was ready to use. Since we plan to dial into the device rather than dialing out, it is ready to use as a portable, standalone appliance for bridging our pre-configured phone lines into our portable audio gear wherever we take it, as long as we have access to our network. I'm very pleased at the portability this offers, as I've relied on POTS hybrids up until now - which means I needed to have an analog line in the room if I wanted to bridge a phone or teleconference into our system.
