    Sony MDR-ZX311 reviews

    MDR-ZX310 On-Ear Headphones (Gray) is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just What I Wanted I bought the Sony MDR-ZX310 headphones to replace a similar Sony headphone that was on it's last legs. I have professional headphones for audio work that I do. I bought these to use with my Ipod, when I just want to relax, take a walk, etc. They are comfortable, light weight & the sound is good for listening to MP3s. Getting much better headphones for an Ipod, in my opinion would be overkill. One of the problems I had with the old pair, & these seem to be made the same way, is that the thin plastic covering over the foam ear pads, started crumbling & flaking off. They are not replaceable. On the other hand, for the low price, if you get 5 or 6 years out of it, it's still a good deal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value I use this product for just to listen to music in my free time. The sound quality is decent but not spectacular. The bass is well controlled and the highs are very crisp for this price range. The padding in this pair of headphones makes it really comfortable for long use. The only thing I didn't like about it was the folding mechanism. It had an odd way of fold which I think makes it very vulnerable to breaking. That being said, it is a pretty durable pair of headphones only if you are careful with it, although it is cheap plastic. Overall, its a good pair of headphones for the price

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faulty connections These right output died on me in less than 6 months (same story with the MDR-ZX100). Called Sony to request a repair/replacement. Since I bought these with cash about 4 months ago, I did not save the receipt. So they told me to screw off and they can't help me (for either pair). Poor materials, poor construction, faulty connections/wiring. Don't waste your time or money on budget Sony headphones. You get what you pay for which in this case is jack.
