Canon FD Mount Lens to Micro Four Thirds Lens Mount Adapter (Black) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Piece of Equipment The Metabones FD adapter is made solid, doesn't feel like it's going to break, works exactly as intended. Make sure you know the difference between the Speedbooster and the adapter. The adapter works great for my purposes. Photos and videos are clear. Everything works great and is super solid. Invaluable piece if you have an MFT camera. There's lots of old FD glass readily available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A solid and robust adapter Firm and without movement, both in the camera (Olympus OM-5) and the Canon FD lenses, even with lenses considerable weight, as the FD 300 / 5.6 SC adjustment. Very useful tripod with telephoto lenses. The construction is of good quality, being all very robust set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Canon FD Mount Lens to Micro Four Thirds This is the second Metabones adapter that I've purchased, and I'm really impressed with the quality of their products. The fit is perfect, and there is no play between lens and adapter, or adapter and camera body. My only gripe is that I would expect a hundred dollar adapter to come with a rear cap. A rear adapter cap would be nice when switching out adapters while leaving a lens mounted. Other than that, it's a great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly well made Solidly built, and fits both my Olympus OM-D E-M5 II and my FL/FD lenses tightly and without movement. However, the adapter doesn't line up properly with the camera - when attached and resting the adapter foot on a table, the camera is not level, which means it also won't be level on a tripod. I returned the first one I got because of this, and the second one was the same, so it appears to be a manufacturing defect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from costs more than some but worth the $ The adaptor allows me to attach all of my older cannon lenses to my Olympus Mons 10 ii camera. Fits securely to camera and lens and the added tripod mount is a plus for my longer lenses.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Doesn't accept FD 135 f/2 Everything's great except for the fact that the adapter won't accept the Canon FD 135 f/2, the crown jewel of my collection.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Troubles with it i'd gotten one of these when i got an Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II in hopes of using some of my old Canon FD lenses on it. i liked the idea that it has a foot intended to allow tripod mounting; that would be great with the 100mm macro FD lens; it would be a good point of balance between the camera and the longish lens. But i ran into some troubles with the mount.- it wouldn't screw on all the way to lock. The foot wound up about 30 shy of the bottom of the camera.- the lenses attach fine to the mount but i found that the manual f stops wouldn't work - turning the f stop ring had no effect. Yes, the diaphragms in the lens were working properly and not stuck, as can happen with some of the old FD lenses; i checked them on the Canon when i discovered the issue with the Metabones mount.- i sent an email to Metabones asking about these issues and never heard back from them.Additionally, the chrome plating on the brass mounting portion seemed not the best. It may be a non-issue but i had concerns that it might flake off in time if used a lot. Wouldn't want that getting into the camera. The mount went back to B&H (5*s to B&H; great service)The unit appears to be well built and a great design if you can actually get it to work as intended.Well, that's my experience with it; the new camera's the first M4/3 i've had and was looking forward to getting to use some of the old glass from the Canon. Disappointing. Some people here seem very happy with this Metabones mount so your mileage may vary.
