Quickly and accurately pull focus on your DSLR lenses with the FocusShifter Follow Focus. This device requires no rods or external support because it attaches directly to your lens. Once secured to your lens, the FocusShifter acts as a lever for turning the focusing ring. The included Focus Marker Board can be used to make focus points to follow. If you like hard stops, the included clips clamp onto the marker board, restricting the range of motion to the desired points. Another advantage of clamping directly to the lens is that there is no play in the mechanism. Photographers can also take advantage of the smooth, accurate focusing provided by the FocusShifter.

Fits any lens ranging in diameter from 2.2" (56 mm) to 3.9" (98 mm)
Re-useable focus marker board allowing you to create marks for your focus points
With the included clips, you can shift between 2 focus points by feel

Follow Focus for DSLR is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great, but could be sturdier I actually use this to zoom in & out on my lens. It works smooth and makes for nice, easy zooms. But it has a little back & forth wobble on it that makes it's connection to the lens not feel super secure. Also, I would love a way to release it more quickly as to reconfigure it's placement so that I can put my camera more easily into the bag without having to totally remove it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well done! GREAT invention! nicely priced and very good idea compared to sophosticated MUCH more expensive alternatives. This simple pieces just DO the job. The marker board is a great plus, and even if used without, the handle makes focussing much easier and faster, AND fun. Only reason I havent given 5 stars is that it takes a little bit of time to install on a lens. A quicker plug-and-play installation mechanism would have made out of it an unbeatable star by all means. Also a slightly more serious substitute to the elastic band holding the arm (maybe if using a more serious material?) would have added more tranquility and trust to the user. Otherwise, really chapeau to the engineers behind the idea. It needs just a bit more common sense and honesty to beat the absurd gadget creators that are just targeting unproportional profits out of this hobby of ours..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the price We bought this to do some rack focus shots in videos. Adjusting the band to fit different lenses is relatively easy. Setting up the white board was a little tricky but not bad. Compared to other systems that cost hundreds, this is a good compromise. You can get a smoother focus during video that you could with your hand on the actual lens.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good for smoother focus Using this with my 5D mk3 (24-70mm, f2.8 and a couple of Zeiss primes) and so far it works well, worth the investment. Seems flimsy at first, but once you attach it to the lens, it really holds up and allows for much smoother focusing, less awkward grappling with the lens.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works well but set-up is tricky My brother and I had fun playing with this over the weekend. The clips are nice, and it came with a replacement band which I know will come in handy. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because, even with the instructions, it was a little tricky to get set up. I also like that it came with its own bag, to keep all my gear organized.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple enough, works as described! Haven't had a chance to use it much yet but so far so good! I'll expand on my review after I get more practice but on our test shot it seems to make sense. The dry-erase card is a nice touch. Takes a minute to figure out how to put it all together.
