This are VERY difficult to work with if you have thick cable

I used this with Ubiquiti's ToughCable carrier grade Cat5e cable that has both a foil shield and a braided metal jacket (the individual pairs are not foiled) and man...getting that jacket into the connector is SUCH a pain. So much that I gave up and just left the jacket out of the connector on most of my crimps. Just to be clear, btw, the outside jacket is only supposed to go in the connector a little. The foil part is what is supposed to go inside and be crimped down in order to create a good connection between the metal on the connector with the foil shield. I also wish they were push through, because things were hard enough as it was. I find it really frustrating though because these are Ubiquiti's own connectors, DESIGNED to go with their ToughCable series. So this is almost unacceptable. As far as the connectors themselves working, I actually had one of the little tiny plastic walls between the metal stabby parts (forgive the lack of terminology) bend and block one of the metal stabby parts, preventing it from making contact in the plug, and it was only operating at 100 Mbps. I found it and straightened it and it says it's working at 1 Gbps FDX now but performance tests say otherwise. I had never have that happen before but it could just be a fluke. Overall, I can't necessarily recommend them but they are probably one of the easier connectors to work with since apparently other shielded connectors require soldering.

These are great when you need grounded cable ends. In our case we only needed 4. It will a long time before all of these get used up.

Never having used shielded cat6 before I was a little hesitant in taking this new project on. These connectors are just as easy to use as anything I have used before! A quality product!

These are really heavy-duty connectors.  Its a little difficult getting the ToughCable wire in them due to some tight tolerances, but they work well.
