Meopta 562520 overview

  • 1Description

The MeoPro 8x32 HD Binocular from Meopta is a high performance binocular that features HD extra-low dispersion fluorite objective lenses that are designed to eliminate chromatic abberations and deliver increased resolution, contrast, and color fidelity. The objective and eyepiece lenses are armed with the proprietary MeoBright ion-assisted multicoating that serves to reduce glare and reflections and allows a 99.8% light transmission per lens surface. A MeoShield coating helps protect the lenses from abrasion.

At 8x magnification, these binoculars are ideal for birding and other observations in nature. A generous 414' field of view (at 1000 yards) makes these binoculars an excellent choice for dynamic observations or observing in tightly forested terrain.

The roof prism chassis consists of rubber armored lightweight magnesium with an ergonomic shape. The binoculars are hand-built in the USA.

MeoPro 8x32 HD Binocular is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from LIGHT WEIGHT AND BRILLIANT OPTICS Having used high end Binoculars all my life I stumbled on this Gem recently. Binoculars are to look through but this one is also to look at and be seen with. Clear from edge to edge and no color fringes even when I used it during sunset.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very sharp binocular They use the best glass. unfortunately there is a slight quality control problem in this NY assembled binocular. I had to take 2 out of 4 purchases back. problem stemmed from center hinge not tight enough and diopter, too tight. so that when changing the diopter adjustment the center hinge would collapse. I sent it back and got one that did not have these problems. overall probably my sharpest binocular . and I have a lot of bicoculars. mostly purchased from Band H

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never leave home without them! This is a must have item for any outdoorsman! I catch myself using my 8x32's for everything from hunting/scouting to watching the nutria swim and play in the creek off the back patio. They are amazingly clear, lightweight, and easy to focus. Any hunter or outdoor enthusiast would love to call a pair of these mine. Can't go wrong with Meopta, and more importantly you can't go wrong with a pair of these binoculars either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MEOPTA? Hmmm... where have I heard that name? I remember now. I once purchased one of their Czechoslovak Republic made darkroom enlargers back in the 1990's. Still have it in storage. I remember it being a well designed, sturdy machine given the low price I paid. Even the included lens was sharp. I compared it to my beloved EL NIKKOR enlarger lens and found no difference in projected image qualities. Those were the days! The U.S.A made Meopta Meopro HD 8x32 binocular to me represents the same value as did their photo enlarger. I'm no binocular expert and have never looked through any of the so-called high end binoculars others often mention, but after spending time with the Meopro I no longer wish to. They are bright, have snappy contrast and deliver crisp detail with no perceptible distortion anywhere in the image. Solidly made and comfortable to hold with precise and smooth focusing. The included neck strap is also comfortable and not overly large against the back of my neck. I am happy to have found these binoculars. My only dislike-Maybe two. The included case is too tight. It's a struggle to get the binoculars in/out of them. Although I can live with it, the green color scheme is a bit to military. Seems most binocular makers only offer green or black. A desert sand or sand brown version of these would really set them apart. Other than these two minor gripes I will most certainly recommend the Meopros to anyone looking for a sharp and sturdy pair of reasonably priced binoculars. Thanks again Meopta!
