It really varies on what you're printing. I have a tattoo studio here in NYC and with 10 different people using the computer daily. We probably print about 10-20 pages per day. A mix of text and photos. The cartriges tend to last about 2 weeks before needing to be replaced. Black goes the fastest, Magenta 2nd, Cyan 3rd and yellow being the last that goes empty. I actually find myself going through about 3 sets of the other colors before the yellow needs to be replace. Strange having so many extra yellow carts sitting around. Hope this helped you out.

The ink that comes with the printer is standard ink cart. which is only about 1/2 of the larger high capacity one.We are all different b/w photos use a lot of ink so I always get the High Cap cart. How often do you turn on / off the printer? All printers will use a lot when turned on just cleaning the heads. I leave mine on 24/7.Hope this helps
