The DXW-2E-S3C Receiver and White HDBaseT Wall Plate Kit from Aurora Multimedia is a one-room one-cable kit. This kit includes a white DXW-2E wall plate, a DXE-CAT-RX3C receiver unit, and a PS0062-1 power supply.
The DXW-2E wall plate installs into a standard 2-gang outlet box and functions as a switcher, converter, and extender. It converts VGA or HDMI to HDBaseT and transmits it up to 600' to the DXE-CAT-R3C receiver unit. It simultaneously also supports an Ethernet input to provide you with internet access on the receiver end.
The DXE-CAT-RX3C is designed to receive HDMI signals from up to 600' away. It features HDBaseT technology which allows the unit to operate 600' away via a single CAT6A shielded cable, and extend at 1080p, 60 Hz, 24-bit color depth. The RS-232, IR, and LAN signals can be sent over the same cable bi-bidirectionally. The DXE-CAT-RX3C features built-in relays for screen control and an amplifier. It has power, status, HDMI, HDBaseT, RS-232, TX/RX and In/Out front panel LED indicators and a front panel Reset button.
The white DXW-2E 2-Gang HDBaseT Wall Plate Transmitter from Aurora Multimedia installs into a standard 2-gang outlet box and functions as a switcher, converter, and extender. It converts VGA or HDMI to HDBaseT and transmits it up to 600' to a compatible receiver (sold separately). It simultaneously also supports an Ethernet input to provide you with internet access on the receiver end. The HDBaseT output is on the rear side, and a single CAT cable runs from it, through a wall, to the receiver. The transmitter is powered remotely from the receiver via the HDBaseT connection or locally via an optional PS0053-1 power supply. The DXW-2E has an Auto-Sense function which is designed to automatically switch to the last HDMI or VGA input connection when a hot-plug is provided from the source device.
The VGA and HDMI inputs each feature an associated 3.5mm TRS audio input. The one associated to the HDMI input is for running audio if you'll be connecting DVI via a converter. The VGA input supports Component, Composite, and S-Video signals via optional breakout cables. The two inputs are selectable between by buttons on the wall plate or by an RS-232 controller connected to the receiver. A 40' range IR receiver sensor is built into the wall plate and supports IR control of the receiver end. A Decora style paintable white wall plate is included.
The DXW-2 is an HDBaseT technology transmitter and works with other HDBaseT receivers. Below is a list of compatible Aurora Multimedia receivers recommended for use with this unit. If the receiver you use does not supply POE remotely, a local 24 VDC power supply must be used (PS0053-1).

DXE-CAT-RX3C HDMI HDBaseT Receiver with Relays
The Aurora Multimedia DXE-CAT-RX3C HDMI HDBaseT Receiver with Relays is part of the DigitalXtreme Series. Rear mounted connectors provide for a clean professional installation. The receiver is designed to complement the Digital Xtreme Series of HDBaseT transmitters such as the DXW-2 Series HDBaseT wall plates, DXE-CAT-TX1, DXE-CAT-TX2, DXM Matrixes, etc. It also features built-in relays for screen control.
HDBaseT technology with a single CAT cable, allows the DXE-CAT Receiver to operate up to 328' for 1080p 60 Hz 48-bit color depth, 500' for 1080p 60 Hz 24-bit (CAT6), or 600' for 1080p 60 Hz 24-bit (CAT 6A shielded) depending on transmitter model. In addition, the RS-232, IR, and LAN can be sent over the same cable bi-directionally. It features the ability to serve up web control pages via LAN to any browser-enabled device (e.g., iPad, iPhone, PC, Android) to take control of the RS-232, IR, and LAN. With the LXCcontrol system engine, this fully functional autonomous control system can operate as a standalone or as a port-expansion unit for a control system.
