Altman Spectra Cyc 50 Overview

The white Spectra Cyc 50 3K White LED Wash Light from Altman is a 50W cyclorama/wall wash lighting fixture that features 3000K Luxeon Rebel white LEDs. The Spectra Cyc also utilizes an asymmetrical aluminum reflector to broadly and evenly disperse the light as well as an LED blending lens to reduce the effects of pixelization from direct view. The light also has pre-programmed modes for adjusting dimming from 0-100% as well as setting up a strobe mode.
Connecting the fixture to your setup is simple with male and female 5-pin XLR ports, these let you transfer data through a series of daisy-chained lights. There is also a powerCON AC out port for feed-through power for up to 30 connected lights. Other features of the Spectra Cyc 50 are push button addressing and a universal 100-240 VAC built-in power supply. It comes with a 5' power cable and is made in the USA.

Will this fixture function as a standalone unit? ...

Will this fixture function as a standalone unit? That is to say, can you make intensity/color adjustments from the unit itself - or do you need to to run it through a board?

The Spectra series of LED fixtures does offer a stand-alone mode that can be used without DMX. In the case of the 3K white fixture as noted in the subject this would only refer to intensity. For color-changing versions of the fixture color can be set as well as intensity.
