This tri-colored orange Reno 34 DSLR Sling Bag from Vanguard holds a DSLR with a lens, a flash, and accessories inside the main compartment, which has a zippered, easy-access side opening. The sling bag features a front vertical zippered pocket for storing your iPad mini or a similar-size tablet in a protective case. For your accessories, there is a spacious zippered storage compartment at the top of the bag.

The front of the sling bag has a zippered pocket that fits your lens cap, and the side has a mesh slip pocket that will hold a water bottle. Together with an attachment strap at the top, the mesh slip pocket also acts as a side monopod attachment. There is a breathable mesh padded panel for comfortably carrying the bag while using the padded sling and underarm security straps. For attaching additional accessories, there are attachment loops on the sling strap. A top grip handle allows you to quickly grab the bag on the go, and a removable rain cover protects your gear in unpredictable weather.

    Vanguard Reno 34 reviews

Reno 34 DSLR Sling Bag (Orange) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent bag but so small! From the photo, it's difficult to gauge how small it is. It's well constructed and all, and seems great, but at this size I just don't see how it's usable and it almost looks ridiculous (being a 6'0" male). I mean, holds what it's advertised to hold, and I guess this is a case of me really should have paid more attention to the dimensions. I'm just going to knock 1 star off because it's just undersized to be of real use but I admit to most of the issues being on my side. It's going back and I'm going to look at one of the backpack models in the same line (the 48 I believe) instead, although too bad because I did really want a sling style.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not for me I like the color and size. It is perfect size for short walk to go shoot, but this bag isn't good for putting any weight, even mirorless camera. I have Sony A7 III with a very tiny 35mm prime lens. When I put this sling bag on my body, all the weight goes to my neck and it hurts. Without camera, it is fine, but I bought a camera bag! The strap isn't well padded. I am 5'7"tall and about 150lb woman. I am not returning it because the return shipping could cost half of the price I paid. I will give this away to my sister to use as a purse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Travel backpack Was a little smaller then I had imagined but I did not measure it out. But so far I love it. Can't wait to use on my upcoming trip

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderfully Compact, Useful, Lightweight I've avoided the sling-style bags because they don't always fit right, but because this bag is more flexible due to its nylon construction, it molds to my body really well. In addition, I like the hooks on pockets, which makes getting to gear quickly a snap. Pocket for water bottle is a nice extra, as is the rain cover. I have a small nylon backpack I use for my gear when I bike, but this one - although more solid than the backpack - still works well for holding my gear. It's easy, though, to overpack, since the bag is extremely lightweight, with flexible pockets and storage space, so I have to remind myself about that. All in all, a great bag that serves me well. And price makes it very attractive purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Little Backpack This little bag is great! For years I have carried my camera in a shoulder bag. I resisted the idea of a backpack because I thought it would make access to my camera too difficult. But, this bag is different. It has a single strap that goes over your right shoulder, across your chest and attaches to the lower left corner of the bag, under your left shoulder. Access to your camera is through a zippered door on the left side of the bag. When you pull the bag around, under your left shoulder, this zippered door appears within easy reach at about a 45 degree angle. Removing the camera is no more difficult than from a shoulder bag. In addition to the single main strap that goes diagonally across your chest, there is another smaller strap that can be pulled out of its pocket at the lower right corner of the pack and clipped onto the main strap. This helps keep the bag in place on your back and would be useful if you are hiking on rough terrain or if you will be bending over frequently. But, it is not necessary for normal walking. If used, you would no longer be able to swing the bag under you left arm as described above. But, this small extra strap can be quickly unhooked from the man strap to allow the bag to swing around. So, it would add only about 1 second to your camera access time. The bag is not very large. I carry a bridge camera (Panasonic FZ200). But, there's room for a full size DSLR body with its kit, or slightly larger, lens. A longer lens could fit in the upper compartment. One caveat: Because of the way the strap diagonally crosses the chest, this bag would not work well for a woman.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well designed and made Bought it for a while. But used it yesterday in a raining day. It worked exactly like the description. It is so convenient to take or put back the camera without take off your backpack. It has a rain cover from the bottom to cover the bag from the rain. I can put my car key, raincoat and big wallet on the top pocket. Love it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great bag, zipper busted 4 years later This bag is small, but miraculously fit 2 or 3 lenses wrapped in Domke pads, plus a full frame DSLR. 4 years of constant use finally broke the zipper. Disappointment now, happy for value I got.
