The black Rogue Laptop Backpack from Timbuk2 is a water resistant day pack that will keep you organized on your next urban or rural adventure. Made of sturdy nylon material, it can endure the elements. It has an internal stretch pocket that holds a laptop up to 15", a large main compartment is handy for storing larger items like books, and a front zippered pocket is a great place to stash smaller necessities. The elasticized external side pocket holds a water bottle or U-lock.

Transporting the Rogue is easy with carrying options that include a top handle, or two adjustable shoulder straps with a removable sternum strap. Rogue Laptop Backpack (Black) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 161.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this bag! I absolutely love this bag. I am a full time student that commutes by train in the Pacific Northwest (it rains a lot). I can fit a couple books, my lunch, and other essentials all comfortably and I think it's super cute, especially for the price. I have been stuck walking home in the rain and none of my things in my bag were wet! Super comfortable too! The only thing I wish this bag had was another outside side pocket to put my umbrella in, just having the one is great for my water bottle but two would make this the perfect bag. I also prefer a bag that doesn't have a lot of internal pockets as I tend to stuff things in pockets and forget about them, so the ones available in this bag suit me perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good backpack for the PNW I was really looking for a new waterproof messenger bag from some other SF bag-makers. (You know who I'm talking about.) but decided to get a backpack, because I want to start cycling to work. I didn't really like the backpack offerings from the other guys, and their prices are outrageous. Enter: Timbuk2. Well designed, stylish, functional and cost effective. So far I really like the bag. It holds everything I want to commute with and all my "get home" gear in case of apocalypse... It keeps out heavy rain for an extended period of time, which is nice. The only things I would add are more pockets, and a key clip inside.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its Great! I use it for school. My other book bags broke from the weight of books. So I bought this book bag because it seems to be strong. So far, I've had the book bag for a month, and there's no sign of tearing or breaking anytime soon. Can fit a large laptop too. There are places to place a carabiners, so that's cool. There's a pocket for easy access and another one inside. It would be nice if there were more pockets. Padding is kind of thin for the back and laptop, to me, but still good. Sometimes, when it drizzles, I do get scared that water may get in if i don't tuck in the sides at the top. Overall, it's a good book bag.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The Rogue The bag is stylish, but its not water proof or resistant. The inside seems almost undone with the lining only on three panals. The plus it has many pockets for all my stuff and plenty space on the inside of the bag and it seem very rugged. My laptop would be fine inside but I think a true laptop backpack should be water tight or resistant. The other plus I like the chest strap and waist strap because it keep the bag still on my rides or even just quick sprints to catch my train, bus or crossing the street while the light still green. I think they could have added a pocket on the flap too but ahhh that's just me being me. My over all its not bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Class Backpack for Economy Pricing This bag has been with me since the beginning of 2014 and as we're approaching 2018 there is still no daily bag that I reach for as much as my Rogue. I am a fast-moving frequent flier with little time to fuss and make my bag fit just right. The Rogue has been ideal for stuff-and-go practices (it's deceptively roomy), long flights, headed to the firing range or just a jaunt on my bike. With a couple of quick tugs and snaps, the bag is ready to roll. The fabric has been SO TOUGH--I have beaten the crud out of this bag and it shows virtually no signs of wear. The water bottle pouch is awesome, laptop sleeve is great and the accompanying pockets are just right. The velcro has begun to wear out a bit, but that's to be expected...thankfully the designers popped those awesome buckles on the front. For the price, functionality and durability of this bag there is no other choice in it's class. I've owned five bags from Timbuk2 from various collections and this is the best backpack I've ever used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic first purchase I started school in the fall and needed a reliable bag that would, more than anything, keep my laptop secure and dry. I was a bit concerned after reading some reviews, because people said it wasn't entirely water proof. But I pulled the trigger anyway because I got such a good deal on it at the time. Since buying the bag I've commuted to school and work several times in HEAVY rain, and everything inside the bag was perfectly dry. On top of that, it's a stylish bag. I also noticed some reviewers concerned that the bag doesn't have enough pockets. I think that's more of a personal preference thing and not necessarily a con; for me, I like that the interior is largely open and let's me decide how to pack it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just right Let me keep this short and sweet... this backpack is GREAT! It is just right in every area: not too small/big, not too few/many pockets, laptop sleeve is just right (it stretches enough for 2 laptops if needed), etc... My only two (nitpicky) complaints are this: 1) a second external side pocket would be preferable to the additional daisy chain webbing, this way I can easily carry two water bottles 2)I love the styling of the two buckles leading to the main compartment, but it can get rather bothersome clipping and unclipping two buckles every time you need something in the main compartment. A single clip, albeit less stylish, would be more functional.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Color is a little different, but it's a good backpack I'm a female, about 5'5", and this backpack was a good size for me. I use it mainly for college, and I can comfortably fit my 13" laptop, some notebooks, an umbrella, and other miscellaneous little items. I purchased the Under Cover - Reverse FARP color, which looks online like a pink trim on a navy backpack; however, in person, the pink looks more like a brown-gray color. I was a little disappointed, but it still looked more feminine than the other colors to me, so I kept it. Also, I recommend getting the velcro silencer strips if you aren't a fan of that loud ripping noise every time you open and close your backpack -- not a good idea for a habitually tardy student who tries to sneak into class mid-lecture (oops).
