The card delivers peak single and double precision floating point performances in a high-density dual-GPU form factor with error code correcting memory support. Generating 1.48 TFLOPS of peak double-precision floating point performance and 5.91 TFLOPS of peak single-precision floating point performance, as well as 12GB of GDDR5 memory and up to 480 GB/s of memory bandwidth the card is designed to handle compute-intensive workloads.
The AMD FirePro S10000 supports industry standards APIs including OpenCL and DirectX for writing programs that execute across heterogeneous platforms. The card's 28nm GPU architecture is built for simultaneous rendering and computation. Each GPU core is designed to handle 2 compute and 1 graphics operation allowing for efficient multitasking. Supported virtualization technologies include Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft. RemoteFX technology allows a single card to power a large number of remote concurrent user computing sessions and no special hardware is required. VMware, vSGA, and vDGA technologies are also compatible with the AMD FirePro S10000 graphic cards, and one card can be shared across multiple virtual machines. When needed, two virtual machines can be assigned to a GPU.
