Plus, auto-flip orientation after 90° tilt motion automatically rotates the image by 180° to show an upright view. This security camera has a 50mm fixed focus lens that provides a wide viewing angle that is well-suited for most surveillance tasks. The carbon-fiber coating on the precision-crafted germanium lens provides protection from scratches and eliminates the need for a viewing window in the housing, preventing reflections and fogging. The camera maintains optimum image quality with automatic calibration.
Object tracking within the camera’s field of view includes motion path overlay, automatic sequential ID assignment, and motion speed annotation for all tracked objects. The camera features configurable alarm generation that triggers an alarm when objects cross a predefined line or enter a specific monitoring zone. Digital image stabilization improves image quality and significantly reduces the file size when no motion is detected.
The camera’s video analytics processor uses uncompressed signal for analytics operations and outputs processed video with overlaid information about possible intrusions. Hence, the camera setup does not require server side analytics, which eliminates investments in server hardware and costly analytics software. It uses an intuitive user interface for configuring analytics parameters. Open Source protocol allows video transmission and camera control via ONVIF protocols over an existing IT network.
