The Auray BAE-2N is a sturdy, two-section broadcast arm with external springs. It's a versatile and practical accessory for professional and home studios, and is ideal for broadcast, voiceovers or podcasts.

The BAE-2N is designed with a wide range of motion for precise microphone placement and minimal noise when repositioning the microphone. The external balance-spring design is precision-engineered to support microphones of up to 3.6 lb (1.6 kg) and hold them in place. This broadcast arm features a standard 5/8"-27 microphone stud mount that's compatible with most shockmounts and microphone clips. The angle of the stud mount can be adjusted and secured with the locking knob, and the angle is maintained when repositioning the arm, eliminating the need to readjust it every time the arm is moved.

The heavy-duty combo mount, consisting of a sturdy C-clamp and a heavy metal desktop mount, offers options for fastening the broadcast arm onto a desktop or permanent installation with the included mounting screws. The 14-inch riser is included to add height to the arm so that it extends over computer or studio monitors.

The BAE-2N is a durable and reliable accessory for any studio or recording setup that will provide secure support for your microphone and won't disrupt your audio when being repositioned.

BAE-2N Two-Section Broadcast Arm with External Springs is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Practical Solution I use this arm for scratch narrations in my edit room (video docs). i have it clamped to an Anthro workstation. It works well except that the extension piece that attaches to the base is a little loose and moves around a little--causing the arm to move as well. It's stable, and overall it's adequate. I recommend the Auray Model 55 pop screen as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy mic arm. It was very well packaged in a container especially made for it. It would've been unlikely it could be damaged in shipment. It seems to be made to be very sturdy and stays where you put it. Since my desk had no lip to fasten the C-clamp to, I mounted it with the supplied screws directly to the desk. The distance between the mounting plate and the end of the mic is only about 21 inches. But that is okay because I don't have much room anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly robust Maybe I'm just used to cheat IKEA desk lamps, but I was pleasantly surprised by the heft and sturdy nature of the spring arm construction given its relatively low cost. The stud mount conflicts slightly with my Shure SM7B but there's an easy work-around.
