The HT-8U UHF Single-Channel Wireless Handheld Microphone Transmitter for DKW-8U System (Channel 16) by Nady Systems is for capturing audio. It is used in various environments for audio applications such as live shows, DJ setups, rehearsals, school auditoriums and more. It features a unidirectional neodymium dynamic cartridge and has a 50Hz to 16kHz frequency response. The HT-8U handheld transmitter is a fixed single-channel UHF format. The operational range is up to 300' line-of-sight from the receiver.
The HT-8U is built with an off/standby/on switch and allows convenient audio muting while the transmitter is on. It also features a status LED indicator that flashes once when the unit is turned on and lights steady for a low-battery alert. The rugged ABS and rubber-coated non-slip housing features an integrated antenna. The unit can be powered by two AA alkaline or NiMH batteries.
