question

Do you have 30-pin cable for using in old ios devices for this?
Asked by: Anonymous
Actually, this cable is now sold by B&H: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1279608-REG/ik_multimedia_ip_cable_30pmusb_in_30_pin_to_micro_usb_cable.htmlThe mic itself will work just fine with older 30-pin devices using this cable.

question

Will this plug directly into a wireless TX like the Sennheiser 100g3?
Asked by: Mark
The IK Multimedia iRig Acoustic Stage may be connected to a Sennheiser SK100G3 transmitter. It must be done with a special instrument cable; B&H# SECI1R.

question

Does this device require bias voltage from the pre amp? How much?
Asked by: Mark
The IK Multimedia iRig Acoustic Stage only requires 2 AA batteries for power. It is quite probable the contact microphone included in this package require some sort of power. If so, it will draw the power from the preamp unit itself. Bias voltage ranges between 1-10v.

How do i use this mic with a iPad Pro 2018 with USB C port? Thanks!!!
Asked by: Geremy
The iRig Mic Studio would use the cable below to connect to USB-C devices like the iPad Pro 11" 2018 (USB-C). Any other third party OTG compatible cable with these connections should also work. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/?A=usb-c-microusb-cable

question

Can this be used in combination with earphones for phone calls?
Asked by: salvatore i.
Not to be used for phone calls. The in-line connector hosts a 1/8 TRRS and a dedicated switch that allows you to connect your headphones for monitoring your recording or a second iRig Mic Lav.

Through my experience, I haven't been able to use it with iPhone functions. So calls or Facetime. It will work with the voice memo app and other recording apps.
