The AM16 Underwater Housing from Ewa-Marine is a waterproof enclosure enabling you to shoot beneath the surface with your ARRI 16SR Cinema Camera with 10-100mm MK2 Lens. It has a depth rating of 32.8'. Easy access to all camera controls is provided right through the double-laminated PVC body.
The housing features an integrated, optically neutral, flat glass lens port. The supplied adapter mounts onto camera lenses with 95mm filter threads, fixing the front element of the lens to the interior of the port to hold the lens securely in place. The included 72-82mm, 77-82mm, and 82-95mm step-up rings adapt lenses with 72, 77, or 82mm threads for use with this 95mm adapter. If using a 72 or 77mm lens, screw 2 step-up rings together and then add on the adapter and you'll be good to go. Corrosion-resistant clamping rails fit together for a waterproof seal and are tightened via knurled thumb screw knobs. The straps at the bottom allow optional weights to be attached for ideal buoyancy beneath the water's surface.
The housing is supplied in a black carrying case with a waterproof interior and zippered side pocket. Also provided are an initial supply of CD5 drying agent and enough foam padding to take up any empty space when shooting above water. Underwater, the water pressure will compress the housing, eliminating excess space.
