question

How do I fold this back together for moving
Asked by: Doc H.
hold it at one end and let the opposite lay on the floor. Quickly snap upwards, and with luck, the bottom will form a natural twist as it comes up....and you will see where it is twisting that if you grab it with one hand and coax it, the thing will fold into itself. One side might be more willing to do this. Sometimes it gets stubborn and then I flip it around and try the other side. The steel inner ring should not be forced. If you do, it can kink and then you will hurt your thumbs when you have to unkink it. It is nasty. I did this once out of frustration. The item will, if you do it right, fold into itself with no force other than the initial uplift from the one end. Good Luck. Once you pull it off, you will laugh at yourself.

Will this stand on its own or does it need to be attached to something?
Asked by: Josie R.
I clip mine to an extra lightstand. It can also be leaned against a wall. But it wont stand on its own.
