An ideal all-around lens, the FUJIFILM XF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR is a versatile 27-206mm-equivalent zoom, covering wide-angle to medium telephoto fields of view. Well-suited for travel and walkaround shooting, the expansive reach of this lens is further complemented by a sophisticated optical design, which uses ED and aspherical elements, to produce high color accuracy, sharpness, and image clarity. An HT-EBC coating also improves contrast and color neutrality by reducing flare and ghosting when working in strong lighting conditions. Also benefitting use in a variety of situations, a linear motor delivers quick and quiet autofocus performance and a five stop-effective image stabilization system minimizes the appearance of camera shake. Additionally, the lens is fully weather-sealed for working in inclement conditions.

FUJIFILM XF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR Reviews
Great lens
This lens is really sharp and covers a great zoom range. I highly recommend it.
Fantastic lens
Pretty much the only lens you need day or low light! Great stabilization, hands free at 1/15 of a sec. Priceless lens
A versatile value
Very versatile and will make a nice image. With versatility often comes compromise and I feel this lens is no exception. Images could be a little sharper but at this price and covering this range it does it's job very well. It is an acceptable grab one lens and go option for most situations. I've used it mostly on an X-T3.
Great Lens
This is a great walking around lens and great for travel. I'm not a professional - but love taking pics and I'm happy with this purchase.
Excellent balance between versatility, weight, image quality
Although this lens does not provide as sharp images as some of my other Fuji lenses and does not have as wide an aperture for lighting and subject isolation, it provides great versatility in focal length and the lens size/weight. Overall a good lens when you prefer to only bring one and expect to need a wide range of focal lengths.
Impressive usability and image quality
I own almost every Fuji lens for the X-mount system and this is one I was determined never to purchase, considering that I almost never use my 18-55 zoom and consider the 16-55 as a benchmark. I finally decided to get this superzoom as a backup (a kind of security blanket when I intend to go out with a single prime lens but want a do-it-all secondary lens just in case). Well, I'm really impressed with the image quality all across the focal range with this zoom. I would not hesitate to use this lens even as a primary lens when I am uncertain about what focal length I was to use on a given outing. Perhaps I wouldn't be as happy if I was into pixel peeping, but that's just not what I do. The main limitation is that it's difficult to get a shallow depth of field, but that is unavoidable with a superzoom, especially one this light and compact. My only complaint is that the zoom ring gets tight at long focal lengths, which is not confidence inspiring. In this sense, the build quality is perhaps somewhat questionable. But it doesn't detract from image quality, at leas on my copy. In short, this lens should serve its backup purpose well and, thus, allow me to use prime lenses and carry only few of them at any time. Highly recommended.
Nice lens
I use this lens as my default as I like to talk up close and landscape pictures for fun. As I am not a professional can not give you that level of review. I can say it does have some challenges at maximum zoom.
Review of Fujinon 18-135 lens for nature photography
I got the 18-135 for my Fuji xt3 so I could get better images of Florida freshwater environments than I could with my Olympus TG5. I'm very pleased with the 18-135. The lens makes it easy to capture interesting scenes. If I manage to get closer, I can even get nice wildlife images. The lens pairs well with the 100-400 which I use mostly for birds, alligators, turtles, and river otters. The lens replaced my Fuji 50-140. The 18-135 does not have the acuity or wider aperture of that lens, but the output is surprisingly good, and it is a wider, lighter solution for my needs.
