The Thunder2 PCIe Box Expansion Chassis from AKiTiO allows you to utilize a PCIe card for your Mac computer, especially if it does not support or have enough space for an expansion card. This chassis supports and provides 25 watts of power to one half-length, full-height, and double-width PCIe card. In addition, the chassis' two Thunderbolt 2 ports allow for daisy-chaining of up to six Thunderbolt devices for connecting extra storage drives or displays for your Mac. Installation of the PCIe card requires removal of two thumbscrews to gain access to the PCIe slot and a third thumbscrew to secure the card. Included with the Thunder2 PCIe Box are a Thunderbolt cable and a power adapter.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply does it's job as defined! Nice product for modding your Mac. Personally I used it for NVIDIA Desktop GPU it worked out well. Given the fact how functional this thing is, it would be great to have full size PCIe cards version too.
