The 12mm d:dicate 4007A Omnidirectional Microphone from DPA features a high-performance condenser design for capturing audio. It produces natural and non-distorted audio capture in various scenarios, including recording studios, live sound situations, theater orchestras, and similar applications. The microphone offers an omnidirectional polar pattern and a frequency range of 10 Hz to 40 kHz. It is capable of handling up to 160 dB SPL peak before clipping occurs and is suitable for recording drums, percussion, and brass instruments. The 4007A is powered by 48V of phantom power and provides a dynamic range of 124 dB from the noise floor. A microphone clip and foam windscreen are included.
Extreme Peak Handling Capability
The 4007A is designed for accurate, transparent reproduction of signals that exhibit high peak response at close range. It can be used for close capturing drums, percussion, brass, guitar cabinets, and similar applications.
