The 22" Roadie HDSLR/Video Backpack from Tenba is designed with video gear in mind, whether that be an HDSLR with lenses or larger camera and lens combinations.

It's rated to hold two DSLRs, 6-8 lenses (up to a 300mm f/2.8), monopod, shotgun microphone, audio recorder and headphones. Specifically, it will accommodate your Canon or Nikon camera body or a video cameras such as a RED (Epic, Scarlet), Canon (C100, C300) and Sony FS700 with 4-6 lenses. There's also a pocket for a 17" laptop and dual side pockets for your monopod and shotgun mic. In addition, storage space is plentiful including interior padded dividers to configure the inside of the pack. A front accessory pocket is for small stuff that you need quickly. Side cargo pockets are padded and also readily accessible for additional accessories.

Butterfly flaps on the top provide quick access to your audio gear or anything else you need in a hurry. This will facilitate keeping your photo and audio gear separated to avoid fumbling through the interior to retrieve specific equipment. You can also, if needed, access the main compartment through these two flaps to avoid revealing all the equipment held inside the bag. The principal access to its main compartment is on the back of the pack, hidden behind your shoulder while worn. This is a security design to prevent anyone from opening the pack while you are wearing it.

The Roadie HDSLR/Video Backpack is made with rugged, foam-laminated, 1680D ballistic nylon, matte-finish YKK zippers, stress point reinforcements and infinitely-configurable photo/video gear compartments. It features a contoured, adjustable expedition-grade harness and wide waist belt. Since the pack holds a ton of gear, the high density foam keeps you comfortable while out and won't compress or break down over time. A top grade grab handle is also included and the hip belt is easily removed when not needed. The bottom element is coated to be abrasion resistant and waterproof. The Roadie backpacks include a 10-pocket media wallet to safely store memory cards and a collapsible rain cover.

Rear Access to Main Compartment
The main compartment is hidden against your shoulder harness and accessed through the rear of the pack. This is a clever security feature designed to make sure no one can suddenly unzip your pack and grab gear. With your pack on, you can navigate through airports and crowds secure in the knowledge that no one will be able to pilfer any gear.
Monopod/Shotgun Mic Pockets
Pockets on both sides of the bag hold a monopod and shotgun microphone.
Top-Access Audio Gear Compartment
Butterfly flaps on the top of the backpack allow quick access to audio gear and accessories like headphones, lav mics, recorders and anything else that you need to get at easily without opening the main camera compartment. The top compartment can also allow access to the main camera compartment, which allows larger equipment (bodies or lenses) to be removed without exposing the main camera compartment to strangers nearby.
Expedition-Grade Harness
Contoured shoulder harness and waist belt provide comfort and support when carrying large camera systems. High-density foam padding won't compress or break down over time or with heavy use.
Built-in Protected Laptop Storage
A padded sleeve protects a laptop up to 17" and is quick and easy to open.
Waterproof Bottom
The bottom element of the pack which is most in contact with the ground is coated to be waterproof and abrasion resistant.
Secure, Rear Camera Access
The access to the main camera compartment is located on the harness side, which provides safety and security when working in unfamiliar or crowded locations. Equipment cannot be surreptitiously removed from the front side while the bag is being carried
Versatile Interior with Adjustable Dividers
The bag is built with a weather-proof coated ballistic nylon exterior, a ripstop nylon interior, YKK zippers, Duraflex clips and heavily-reinforced stitching.
Front Accessory Compartment

    Roadie HDSLR/Video Backpack (22") is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Cadillac of bags I needed a bag to transport the new Panasonic HVX camera as well as a bunch of other things to shoot an expo/awards show across the country. This was a fantastic choice. Everything fit well in the bag, there's tons of pockets and pouches, it really made life easier. It fits on carry-on (although I had to take off the waist buckle and put that in my luggage to make it fit). Not that it mattered, because the plane ran out of room and it had to be checked anyway. Cue a near panic attack- if anything broke, I was SOL. Not only did everything make it perfectly intact, but things barely shifted as well. Well worth the investment!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Backpack Ever I've used the Roadie for close to a year now and I have nothing but good things to say about it. It literally has saved me when I travel. Took it on over 45 plane trips this year, it's a solid pack. Holds so much stuff I keep finding more pockets I n vet knew were there. Comfortable as sin, and seriously solid quality. I don't see this ever breaking. It's big, but not crazy big. Fully packed it still fits under the plane seat in front of me if overhead compartments are full cuz I checked in late to a Southwest flight now I'm sitting row 1,275 middle seat. Hands down best most rugged comfortable durable pack in the market. I even carry light bulbs in the main compartment and they've NEVER broken. I've had lights break in Pelican cases surrounded by foam and this pack dies better than that. But it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Best Friend in the World I've been using this bag for 2+ years, taken it on countless flights and trips. There's nothing to say but this is the best backpack EVER. I feel like freaking Batman when I wear it. I used to bring 2 bags for what fits in this guy, and I keep finding places to put things. It has been a lifesaver.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits C300 Mark ll For the last couple years I used a lowpro for a C100, 5d lll and lenses and it worked great traveling. Since I bought the C300 Mark ll I needed to go bigger. This is a big bag and it fits the C300 Mark ll if you break it down. I didn't want to have to take the top handle off and it fits in this bag with top handle. Viewfinder sticks up a little but I'm careful and if and when I get on a plane I will take the top handle off. There are tons of pockets for stuff and has a waist bulky wrap around but I figured out you can take it off, it Velcros . The thing that takes some getting used to is you don't access the camera and lenses from the front you access from the back, so I always lay the bag down on the front. You'll figure it out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Backpack I tried a few other backpacks, but decided to go with the Tenba. This is masterfully crafted. Lots of deep pockets that hold ALL your gear. The thing that is most impressive is the depth of the interior. This hold my Nikon D800 with a battery pack and a sling strap and tripod mount without a problem, plus there is easily enough room for my other camera. Without a doubt, this will serve my needs and some. Easily adjustable straps, and the water bottle holder is awesome too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love it First off, this pack is huge! It's a pro and a con. You can throw any and everything into this backpack. I quickly learned that it's not always a good idea because it will become heavier than you proabably want. I Have 6 lenses, a FS700, DR40, batteries, charger, filters, headphones and a few other random things in mine. It appears to be very well built and I imagine will will last me a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge bag, worth the investment! For almost 15 years I've been a wedding videographer. After 6 or 7 years of people asking if I do photography, for 2016 I decided to try and join the ranks of wedding photographers. Over the years, I've managed to get quite the collection of camera bags and cases. But, none of them really met my needs of being able to have everything in 1 location outside of my Pelican 1610 which when loaded weighs 50lbs. It's also not great for being able to move around to various locations on site. I realized I would be needing at least 2 bags at a wedding photo shoot and I didn't want to keep up with that. After months of looking around, I decided that the Tenba Roadie was the best match for my needs. An additional consideration I had was, doing destination wedding films and how I would transport my video gear on the plane. What sold me in particular on the Tenba was the way the top of the bag is made, where you have 2 extra compartments for audio stuff. I have 3 Tascam recorders and 3 sets of Sennheiser G3 mics I can fit in there. The main compartment is huge. I just got the bag today (paid for 2 day shipping) and loaded up for a wedding photo shoot tomorrow. I've got the following in there: Nikon D750 Nikon D7200 Nikon 70-200 VR2 Nikon 17-55 Nikon 35 Tokina 11-16 Wireless flash triggers 2 Flashes 5 batteries 1 color checker passport Del XPS 15 laptop There's still some room in the main part for a couple more pieces of gear, but I weighed it on my scale and it's 25.4 lbs with just that gear. For video, I'd still have room to pack in my Coolpix A, Nikon 1 V1 w/ 6.7-13 lens, Canon vixia mini, and probably the 24-120 F4 as a backup. Outside of the huge size of the bag, the first thing I noticed was just the overall quality of the bag. It's very well put together with very robust looking and feeling zippers. As always shipping was great from B&H. The bag came in a box 2x it's size with tons of air padding stuff. It was kind of funny to me that it was so well protected. I've got 2 trips coming up in Feb and Mar where I'll get to tote this thing all along the East coast. Looking forward to the convenience this bag is going to offer when traveling around the country for sure!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for getting to your destination with a lot of gear! For the past year I've been traveling around with the Roadie using planes, trains, buses, and electric scooters in Asia. It's been great for packing in audio and video gear and being able to easily transition from a 737 overhead compartment to another seat or trunk. Thankfully no airline has weighed the bag before the flight! It's sleek profile allows for access without a tangle of straps. The DNA 13 Messenger is a handy companion to carry some camera gear and walk around the street without the Roadie. I lugged the Roadie around for a whole day at a park in China, which may have been better with a backpack. It has good suspension, but it's main purpose for me is not to be trekking around taking shots all day with my machete and hammock attached. Once at a destination it's handy to put the bag on its front and work out of the back, putting gear in and out as I need it. It bit of a hefty price, but it will go along with you on many adventures and not complain or need coddling. Enjoy.
