Wonderful tool

I have used this with several Sony RX100VA models and it works great. A much better handhold. To my surprise, this also fits well on the Sony RX1Rii (for which it was not designed) which has a similar problem with a limited handhold. The grip gives me a better handhold on the RX1Rii as well.

This little grip makes this wonderful camera into a perfect camera. It gives just the right amount of grip that is needed to allow you to firmly and safely hold the camera without making it bulky.

You need this grip!

My Sony RX100iii is a great little camera but I needed some extra grip so it would feel better in my hands. This little grip does just that! It's also really easy to put on. I would highly recommend!

I love this little gadget. It makes all the difference in feeling that I have a secure hold on such a small camera. I can even take a one-handed shot!

love it.

What can I say, really? It's a stick-on rubber grip and it does just that... it makes it easier to grip the camera vs the smooth drop-prone surface that's there without it. I don't really have an issue with the grip itself, it fits nicely and seems to adhere well so far. My main irritation with the product is simply that it's an optional purchase for a P&S camera where the most current model sells for well over a thousand dollars... making it possibly the most expensive P&S on the market, so IMO it should come in the box with the camera.

Better grip on camera

I use this on my RX100M7 and it makes a big difference when gripping the camera. It feels less slippery and does not add weight or a lot of space.

I like that this camera easily slides into and out of my pocket when traveling, will the grip make this more difficult? Presumably it is made of a rubberized material. Or is it?
Asked by: Eric
The Sony AG-R2 Attachment Grip is manufactured from rubberized elastomer and polycarbonate plastic. It will depend on the size and shape of your pocket if the Sony AG-R2 Attachment Grip will be able to slide easily into your pocket. However, if there is enough room in your pocket, the camera should still be easily accessible.

question

It was necessary to remove this grip due to a return of my RX100 M5 due to a defect. I will be receiving a replacement RX100 M5. Does anyone know what type adhesive tape I can use when I refit my current grip on the replacement camera?
Asked by: Lamont
Might also try shoe goo - a flexible rubber adhesive.
