My intended use for this was to attach it to my bikes handlebars and record videos to YouTube. It wobbled tremendously and fell off two times my phones ok only thanks to my otter box. So instead of dirt trails I tried my luck on pavement. It stayed on but was terrible footage because it wabbled so much. Not recommended unless you want to be disappointed. I bought this mainly for my electric scooter. I like it that I could clip it on any angle (scooter neck) but the neck of this bike mount can only be bent in one direction. I'd have to use another ball mount adapter to accomplish my needs but that becomes too wobbly. The shock resistant is a bit too weak to handle extensions that it wobbles/waves on every bump. It scares me that my phone would eventually drop when I go full speed. I'd say this is only designed to clip on horizontal bars, not vertical.

Does its job
Bought it to attach my phone to my DJI Ronin so I could use it as a monitor for my GH4 through the Panasonic app. Goes on easy and holds phone pretty tight. Not worried at all about it falling off while shooting.
