Revo SR-1000 reviews

SR-1000 Shoulder Support Rig & Support Strap is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what was needed I purchased this support rig following use of the Revo SR-1500 which had a very unnatural position and allowed one to tire easily. This rig used with the counterweight is just what I needed. I filmed a wedding using a Canon 70D and the rig. From the positioning of the camera to the balance and support offered this one hit the mark dead on. Video was smooth and fluid as a consequence. I did not use the strap but may do so in the future. It may be a decent alternative to the counterweight. Albeit, the counterweight while adding mass to the unit felt well balanced and as such did not feel like it contributed much weight to the whole rig. A great purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid A great and sold product. I love that it only has one grip so I can keep my other and on the lens... Or switch hands so I can make necessary camera setting adjustments. Those steadycams with two grips never made much sense to me. Also, the ridged metal structure gives me peace of mind that i won't snap anything and that it won't melt in my car. I still had a bit of shoulder fatigue the next day, but I'm pretty sure that's because I'm out of shape.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Revo SR-1000 I like this shoulder rig as a woman I find it very comfortable. The assembly was very easy and it is easy to use. The only minus is the counter weight for this rig is sold separately.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Very Effective Videography Tool I'm very pleased with this shoulder rig. It makes hand-held shots much more stable. I would definitely recommend buying the counterweight to make the rig more stable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too low for a DSLR to be comfortable Eh, I wanted to love this rig so much. Bought it for a wedding where I was doing JUST the video and no stills. Thought it would save my back. It just sits too low with a 5D MK 3 on board. You end up having to raise it to eye level to get comfortable or lean down to use the viewfinder and I'm only 5' 10. Using the belt to keep it high is pointless as the weight of everything just pulls the belt upwards till it's almost around your chest. Nice quality, good solid piece of kit but perhaps needs a raiser or is more suitable for Canon Pro Video gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic! This works great for my Panasonic ag ac 160 camera. Since this is a short body camera, it's hard to stabilize off tripod. The Revo works perfectly and looks great. Very high quality and works well for short periods without the optional weight. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not worth it. Trash. It translated my heart beat onto the camera. Get a handheld gimbal.
