This B&H Kit combines a 62" long track with the matching carriage and end caps into a complete Syrp Magic Carpet Slider. The advantage of this slider is it allows you to switch out the track for other-sized ones, sold separately. The system supports up to 15.4 lb and features a brake, bubble level, and reversible 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 screw for attaching a camera, ball head, or tripod head.

How can I choose the right tripod to use with the magic carpet?
I attach a tripod on one end and a light stand on the other side and it works great. There a different sized hole on the ends and middle so it will fit both tripod screw sizes. The Syrp Genie II Linear is not necessary to operate the Syrp Magic Carpet Long Slider.

Hi, i have this slider and a Surui tripod. Could you tell me which plate can i use for mounting the Magic Carpet on my tripod? Thanks.
If by plate you mean the two sets of rails that come in Kit, you can use either set of on a tripod. Simply attach the tripods quick release plate to the middle screw hole. Do be cognoscente that you need a robust tripod if you have a heavy camera and video head particularly if you use the 5.2' rail set. Otherwise you may fall over.

Are you able to add any types of adapters or is there anything made to connect two sets of rails together?
Only the Magic Carpet Pro tracks are extendable.

Can you expand the length on the regular Magic Carpet? I know you can on the Pro, but I want to know if you can on this model.
No, unfortunately, the Syrp Magic Carpet 3.3' Medium Track with Carriage and End Caps Kit cannot be extended like the Syrp Magic Carpet PRO Short Slider Kit with Extension (60"). It is possible to swap the track to something longer by opting for the Syrp Magic Carpet Long Track (5.2'). See the link below:
