The Bosch SE2000 Series SE2005 Central Console Software is the control center for the Security Escort System and consists of a personal computer. You can use a second computer for back-up if desired. This SE2005 Central Console Software allows a maximum of up to 500 subscribers or users. The SE2000 Series software module receives alarms from the transponders, locates the transmitter that produces the alarm, and identifies the person or item using the transmitter.
The central console also monitors the entire system and reports component or system faults by displaying the identity and location of the user (subscriber) or item on the screen. The messages provide instructions for the dispatcher or key operator. All alarms and trouble messages are logged in memory and can be printed. The central console contains all of the operating software and all the databases required by the Security Escort Systems.
The console maintains 5 databases such as alarm reports, history, operators, subscriber, and transponder. Each alarm is saved as a record in the alarm reports database and the alarm map can be reproduced and the location text shown. A complete chronological history of all service actions, tests, and alarms is recorded in the history database. Operators database stores the files of those authorized to use the Security Escort System. Subscriber data and current status, low battery, and last test date and time can be saved in the subscriber database. The transponder database stores system configuration containing all installed equipment and system inter-relationships.
All operations on the central console computer are password access controlled. Passwords might have different authority levels assigned by installing company personnel or the security department's key operator. The central console automatically scans all devices for their current status and enables or disables devices from the console. An on-board transmitter on all receivers can be activated to test adjacent receivers and confirm that each radio receiver is operating properly. The system software continuously monitors the system's status to ensure it functions correctly.
