Meade 125041 reviews

10x32 Rainforest Pro Waterproof Binocular (Black) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A real deal in a lightweight binocular for an eyeglass user This review is for the Meade 10X32. I have another pair of Pentax 10X43 which are my main pair and have used several other binoculars that I normally use for my birding, but my previous pair had been stolen in Europe and with another trip overseas wanted something lighter than the 10X43. I did a lot of comparison shopping with four caveats; they had to have decent optics, they had to be reasonably inexpensive, they had to be lightweight, and because I wear glasses, they had to offer AT LEAST 16.5 mm eye relief. These binoculars fit the bill. My expectations: 1) The optics are really quite good. No, not as good as my Pentax, but still bright and clear with no optical aberrations on the edges (my better than the Paralux I replaced my stolen Pentax with). 2) The price was unbelievable (Honestly I likely would have paid another $60 for them). 3) They weigh just under 500g 4) The listed eye relief is 18.4 mm. I don't know if that is accurate, but I have no issues with my glasses (no blackout on the edges. Other things I like. Nice thick rubber coating Diopter for one eye Strap is okay Nice case Waterproof Coated optics What I don't like Focusing is a bit too "free" if that means anything. There is just a bit more play than I would liked. Optically very good, but not a match for the Pentax. Being picky here. I'm pretty sure I will loose the rear eye cap protectors. The real reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it doesn't match the Pentax and Zeiss glasses I have used, but at this price point probably deserves a 4.75 star rating.
