With a response speed of up to 6.8ms, the 6J 6-Channel, 2.4 GHz Computer Radio with R2006GS Receiver from Futaba is an air radio (transmitter) aimed at users looking for a step up in performance from 4-channel systems. It supports airplane and heli mixing, and features a 15-model memory so that you can save settings for a range of aircraft in your collection. The radio operates on 2.4 GHz and works on the FHSS and high-speed S-FHSS protocols. It supports control modes 1 through 4, allowing you to fly with the configuration that is most familiar (mode 2 is the most widely used mode in the U.S.).

The R2006GS receiver is also included, and supports 4.8 to 7.4 VDC non-dry cell flight batteries for maximum flexibility. The transmitter, meanwhile, powers from four AAs.

Concessions to Usability
The 6J layout is designed so that the sticks, programming keys, and rotary knob will all be within easy reach
Balanced Design
The shape is angled for a better, easier grip, and features even weight distribution to make wearing a neck strap more comfortable. The 6J's case also features a broad, flat base so that it will stand upright when you set it down. Other features include a charging jack on the side and a square micro-port for a trainer cord on the backplate
40 x 30 LCD Display
With the display you can see model name, number and type, voltage, modulation, and more all on the home screen. Pushing SELECT lets you see the timer
Bi-Directional Menu Navigation
If you scroll by the function you want, no problem - you can navigate through menus forward and backward with the same ease
Customizable Switch Configuration
Most of the 6J's mixing functions can be assigned to the switch you prefer, so you can adjust the control setup to your style of flying
The Rotary Knob
The 6J's rotary knob can be used for a fully proportional 6th channel, fine-tuning hover-pitch or scale flaps. It also leaves room for an added programmable mix you can activate with the flip of the switch
