Reduce visual obstructions while driving with the GoSafe 260 Rear View Mirror/Dash Camera from Papago!, which features a full-sized wide-angle rearview mirror with an integrated 2.7" TFT LCD display in one unit. It clips over your vehicle's stock mirror and eliminates the added interference sometimes associated with separate dash cams. The anti-glare mirror is auto-dimming to reduce headlight glare from cars at night.
The camera captures everything in its 130° wide-angle field of view in full 1080p high definition, and recording begins automatically when the car is turned on. Files save automatically to a MicroSD card and accepts cards with capacities of up to 32GB. When the built-in G-sensor detects an incident, such as an accident or hard braking, those files are automatically overwrite protected. An Emergency button allows the driver to manually mark the current recording file to be overwrite protected. A built-in microphone captures interior audio, and can be muted to protect passenger privacy or to conserve memory.
When it is in Monitoring Mode, and the car is still for more than 10 seconds, it changes the frame rate to 1 fps. When the car starts moving again, it returns to the selected frame rate. Even when you're parked, the GoSafe can still be on the job. If you've had the camera hard-wired to the car's electrical system, put it on Motion Detection Mode, and it will begin recording video when motion is detected in the camera's field of view.
