The CounterStrike: Global Offensive Edition Kana Optical Gaming Mouse from SteelSeries features 6 buttons, a tournament grade optical sensor, and high-performance PTFE feet. The mouse has an ergonomic, ambidextrous design for all three grip styles: palm, claw, and swipe.
The mouse also features a 6.5' rubber cord with a USB 2.0 connector for enhanced durability. The ambidextrously-placed XL size side buttons allow for easy rapid fire. The scroll wheel's LED intensity can be assigned to indicate which CPI (counts per inch) profile is enabled. The CPI toggle button allows for quickly switching between two sensitivity settings.
The SteelSeries Engine software can be downloaded from the SteelSeries website to program your buttons, optimize mouse sensitivity, as well as create unlimited profiles. The mouse is compatible with both Mac and PC.
The SteelSeries Engine
The SteelSeries Engine software (downloadable from the SteelSeries website) allows you to customize your mouse settings. With the SteelSeries Engine installed, you will be able to set custom CPI settings, set LED intensity per CPI (counts per inch) setting, program your mouse buttons, set polling rate, record macros, track button-usage statistics, set game triggers for profiles, and setup unlimited profiles for the these settings.
The centrally located toggle button allows you to quickly switch between two sensitivity settings. The professional gamers' pre-defined CPI settings, which reach up to 3200 (scalable in increments of 400, 800, 1600, and 3200 CPI), are also easily adjustable via the SteelSeries Engine.
The SteelSeries Kana features 6 buttons: left click, right click, scroll wheel/middle click, right side button, left side button, and CPI toggle. The two XL-sized side buttons allow for easy rapid-fire and can be disabled using the SteelSeries Engine.
Lighting with Purpose
The illuminated scroll wheel is both stylish and functional. Utilizing the SteelSeries Engine, the LED intensity can be assigned to indicate the currently active CPI profile.
The SteelSeries Kana has an ergonomic, ambidextrous design, which makes it a natural fit for both right and left handed users.
PTFE material covers 16% of mouse bottom to ensure maximum glide.
It is recommended that the glides be changed regularly as they will eventually wear down.
The SteelSeries Kana uses advanced optical technology that operates at 3,600 fps and supports stable movement speeds at 130 inches per second. This means that regardless of your frantic movements, the mouse will consistently deliver, especially for fast-paced FPS games.
The mouse is made to be stable on every kind of surface with the help of its optical sensor. This sensor is also designed to eliminate jitter and provide optimized stability for its user.
The durable 6.5' anti-tangle rubber cord features a USB 2.0 connector.
The mouse is compatible with both PC and Mac systems.
