The 196 page paperback was published in August 2014 and goes into detail on the creation of images, designing and maintaining a website, engaging with social media, personal projects, print sales and exhibition, and budgeting and copyright. Grant Scott became a professional photographer in 2000 after working for 15 years as an art director for books and magazines. He has edited Professional Photographer, Photography Monthly, and Turning Pro magazines in the UK and is now a freelance creative direct, a senior lecturer for Editorial and advertising Photography and the University of Gloucestershire, and the founder and curator/edit of The United Nations of Photography. His first monograph of photography, At Home with the Makers of Style, was published by Thames & Hudson in 2006.
