The black Data Express DX115 SAS/SATA 6 Gb/s Removable Drive Enclosure from CRU-DataPort is a complete assembly with removable drive carrier and frame. It is suitable for government agencies, digital cinemas, and SMB organizations that need a removable drive enclosure to store, transport, and protect sensitive data. The removable frame mounts into 5.25" peripheral bays. Its receiving frame offers 6 Gb/s performance, when used with a 6 Gb/s drive and host configuration. The enclosure is backwards compatible with 3 Gb/s drives and hosts.
The soft start circuitry of the enclosure increases data integrity by eliminating in-rush current during spin-up. Furthermore, the enclosure's connectors are tested and verified for over 25,000 insertions. Its stainless steel construction dissipates heat and ensures the safety of your drives. The DX115 carrier and frame will provide you with reliable performance, while protecting your data.
For 6 Gb/s operation, a SAS or SATA 6 Gb/s controller and SAS or SATA 6 Gb/s hard drive is required.
