The RTX800-TR 8-Bay TrayFree 3.5" SAS/SATA Dual Thunderbolt RAID HDD Tower from CRU-DataPort is a portable RAID tower hard drive enclosure that offers 10 Gb/s speed with dual Thunderbolt connections. It houses eight 3.5" SATA/SAS hard drives, providing up to 32TB of storage capacity for video editing, visualization, simulation, high-capacity storage, or backups of large amounts of data. The dual Thunderbolt interfaces of this enclosure allow fast connection to your Mac or PC host, at the rates of up to 10 Gb/s, in both directions and at the same time. This kind of performance can transfer an 8GB file in a few seconds or back up 1TB of content in approximately 20 minutes.

The rugged TrayFree bays are rated for up to 50,000 insertion cycles. Its screw-less & tool-less design allows you to add drives easily into the bays, you just need to open a drive bay door, slide the drive in, and close the door. In addition, the RTX800-TR tower supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, and 10 in hardware, with easy configuration using ATTO Technology's RAID management software.
