question

What is the diameter of the knob (how wide is it as it fits in your hand?).
Asked by: Bob P.
Bob, I don't have it here in my office, but it is about 2 inches or so in diameter and maybe an 1 inch or so high. Its shape fits very comfortably into my hand and when I am not using it for my camera, it makes a great walking stick. Mark

question

Could this knob be used with a carbon fibre manfotto monopod that has 1-4 and 3/8 male screw?
Asked by: DARLENE
I use this knob on a Targus TG-MP6710 monopod that I picked up at Walmart. I love it. It alows me to use the monopod as a cane but allows me to mount my camera quickly and easily. I think it could be used the Manfotto monopod but I am not sure. Go to Walmart and check out the Targus and see how it compares to the Manfotto.

question

Is this compass Knob made of metal or plastic?
Asked by: Anonymous
The compass on the knob is plastic, however, the knob appears to be aluminum. I'm not sure the compass would hold up in a self defense situation!

question

Will this knob fit into Mefoto Globetrotter Carbon's Monopod Detachment?
Asked by: Jacob K L.
I cannot say for sure, But it does fit a standard 1/4 mounting thread. One warning however...the imbedded compass is of no value. it became stuck within 1 day of use. Buy this only as a knob!!!
