I thought this would simplify time intensive white balance process in raw after taking pics, but nothing is easy or straightforward about how this works from downloading the software top lining up the colors to getting the computer to read to program. The you fiddle to get one color right and the rest are wrong. so you go to the wrong ones to get it to match and all the others are off.. and so on. Im close to giving up.

Requires use of SpyderChekr program and tinkering with colors percentages in post editing but once you understand the importance of getting spot on colors for portraits or landscapes you'll ensure to have this tool at every photo shot. Color editing can take awhile without this especially when dealing with different lighting indoors and out but this program and color sheet will cut down precious time with post edits.

I bought this without realizing it WILL NOT work with Capture One. My fault, I did research but not enough evidently. Hoping this review finds someone who might make the same mistake I did. However, the quality of the card and colors were fine, a little flimsy but fine. The software worked fine, that is when I caught that this won't work with C1. It exports presets for Lightroom basically, I was looking for ICC profiles. Lesson learned.

I have not really had a chance to use this just yet, but I have set up the software that you get with it. It was easy enough to set up and I will be curious to see how it is when I finally put it to use. I have only done a single photo shoot since purchasing, but I forgot I had this and never took reference shots. Still, it is nice to have and I will update once I put it to use.

I bought it to be able to color grade my footage. And now i can color grade my footage. I mean, if you also want to color grade your footage, buy this! Buy it now. You need it. I know it.

The Datacolor SpyderCHECKR 24 Color Chart allows photographers to obtain more consistent, accurate color within their normal post-production workflow in Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop and Hasselblad Phocus. It is quite useful in videography, and has been integrated into workflow in applications like DaVinci Resolve.

can I use this with my xRite software and spectrophotometer- since calibrate doesn't seem to be making color checker charts right now?

I would not recommend the Datacolor Charts. While the Datacolor chart will work with applications like DaVinci Resolve. When using Xrite or Calibrite software you would need to work with their Colorchecker charts - https://bhpho.to/3JOh1rb

SpyderCHECKR 24 cannot be used with an iPad. The software is only for Mac and Windows post productive imaging software such as photoshop, Lightroom and etc.

Hi, I am not a window user. But if you have the most recent version of Adobe Lightroom, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use it under Windows 10. Hope it helps.
