question

Would it fit a D3 ?
Asked by: Stephen B.
The D4 has more operating controls on the back... Do they make one for the D3? While it seems like great protection, the cover was too slick to me to hold...

question

Can this be used on a D4s along with the Arca-Swiss compatible camera plates from Really Right Stuff? In particular, the BD4-L plate (shaped like an L )?
Asked by: Kevin J.
Hi Kevin, Yes I think it ought to work with the D-4s, whether the QR plate will work I'm not sure, I use a Manfroto plate on the bottom without an issue, so it probably will. One thing I didn't like about the cover was that the button covers defeated the backlit function, which I find useful for dark location work, so I cut them out, it makes it a bit harder to press the buttons but restores the valuable lighting function. The cover is good since it protects the body surface from bumps and scratches and other equipment in my bag.

question

To those who really got this case: does it fit the body tight?
Asked by: Seyran
I found the fit to be good and snug on my D4S. No Regrets. I went with the yellow as it keeps the camera cooler in the sun.
