The HDBaseT HDMI CAT5/6/7 Extender with POE / LAN / RS-232 / Bi-Directional IR from Avenview comes with a HBT-C6POE-S sending unit (transmitter) and a HBT-C6POE-R receiving unit (receiver). It allows you to extend video and audio up to 330' (100m) over a single CAT5/6/7 cable. You can also extend bi-directional IR and RS-232 control signals and LAN. With PoE pass-through, the transmitter can also power the HBT-C6POEWP-R receiver at the display end, eliminating the need for a separate power supply for the receiver.
The extender supports Full HD 1080p up to 3D, UHD (3840 x 2160), and 4K2K (4096 x 2160) video resolutions and allows LPCM 7.1 channel, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD Master Audio pass-through. It also accepts DVI input (separately sold DVI to HDMI adapter required) and is HDCP and CEC compliant.
Note: The transmission length is largely affected by the type of category cables, HDMI sources, and HDMI display. It is recommended to use solid UTP cables (e.g., a single 1000' bulk cable) to achieve transmission over longer distances. Use of stranded UTP cables (usually in the form of patch cords) may not be suitable. Shielded STP connectors are recommended to unshielded UTP connectors.
Extends uncompressed Full HD video (60 Hz, 36-bit) up to 330' over CAT6e/6a/7 cables
The transmission distance and quality depends on the quality of category cables used. For resolutions greater than 1080i or 1280 x 1024, a solid CAT6e 250 MHz cable is strongly recommended
HDMI input with 3D & 4Kx2K support
Supports video bandwidth of 300 MHz (9 Gb/s)
Supports PC resolutions from VGA to WUXGA
Supports 1080p (1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz) and HD resolutions up to 4Kx2K (3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz and 4096 x 2160 @ 24 Hz)
Displaying HDMI 4Kx2K resolution would require a standard 4Kx2K HDMI cable and display for accurate results
Supports LPCM 7.1 channel, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS-HD Master Audio @ 32 to 192 kHz
Ethernet transmission rate of up to 100 Mb/s
5Play Convergence: HDMI, LAN, PoE (powers compatible receiver units only) & bi-directional control (IR & RS-232)
Non-PoE receivers, if used, must be powered via a separate power supply. Receivers from different manufacturers would not be compatible
HDCP compliant and CEC bypass
DVI compliant (separately available HDMI to DVI adapter required)
Suitable for corporate, houses of worship, residential, educational, military, industrial, medical, and aviation applications
